Heating-value-optimised

Heating-value-optimised powder coatings are used in the area of fire protection where ceiling panels and partition wall systems are installed. An optimised powder coating makes an important contribution to compliance with the required fire protection specifications.
Building products are classified according to the valid regulations regarding their burning behaviour. The harmonised procedure for classification of the burning behaviour of components products is described in DIN EN ISO 13501-1 .
A study of this standard produced the following result:
For all inorganically pigmented finished products, the fire protection class A1 can be achieved with the range IGP-DURA®mix 3302A….U00, with a coating thickness of < 60μm.
