IGP-HWFclassic 591T parkour

IGP-HWFclassic 591T parkour is a new, highly weather-resistant deep matt structural coating powder with increased scratch resistance and optimised adhesion capacity on numerous pre-treatments, including chromium-free pre-treatments. This product is an advanced version of our tried-and-tested IGP-HWFclassic 591T fine structure for highly weather-resistant architectural applications with energy-efficient curing conditions from 170°C.

"591T parkour" is being launched on the market in June 2019. The first pilot customers already appreciate its increased film flexibility, which goes hand-in-hand with better mechanical processability of the coated workpieces. The scratch resistance of the fine structure surface has also been significantly optimised: it now offers robust performance during installation, transportation and cleaning, and in day-to-day use.

What benefits do the optimised product properties deliver?

1. Increased film flexibility:
The powder coating film can absorb more tensile tress; this achieves some reduction in cracking when subject to stretching and improves adhesion capacity on many pre-treatments, including chromium-free pre-treatments. For you, this means more reliability as regards durable adhesion of the coating.

2. Increased scratch resistance:
The more robust surface offers you significantly greater resistance to abrasive stresses or parallel-linear scratches.

For you, this means increased reliability and safety when handling coated surfaces during installation, transportation and everyday use. The surface also offers increased protection against mildly abrasive cleaning agents during basic or upkeep cleaning.

3. Optimised structural stability:
IGP-HWFclassic 591T parkour produces homogeneous and extremely attractive coating results even with varying coating thicknesses.

These benefits result in:
- Homogeneous structural characteristics with less dependence on the coating thickness.

4. Lower energy costs and/or increased coating capacities:
Thanks to the reactive coating system, accelerated cross-linking is already possible with low expenditure of energy.
