IGP-DURA®one 56 – Larger Curing Window

We’re proud to announce the launch of our energy-efficient, future-oriented powder coating range, IGP-DURA®one 56. Tests have confirmed the outstanding user-friendliness of this highly reactive powder system.

Whatever surface variant you choose, the low-temperature system is fully cured in just under 15 minutes at an object temperature of 160°C. However, in typical mixed operations, you can also use curing combinations with significantly higher temperatures (up to 190°C) and shorter times (up to 10 minutes). This offers you a wide, convenient curing window so you can save energy by reducing the oven temperature or cutting the curing time at the same temperature.

The technical data sheet and the label on the container indicate the minimum (15 mins., 160°C) and maximum (10 mins., 190°C) curing combinations for IGP-DURA®one 56. These details define the limits within which top gloss and color stability are guaranteed using different curing combinations. This is important especially for large projects that involve several coaters who use different parameters according to their preferred working conditions, but where a very homogeneous overall coating result is desired.

For coating processes that use the reactive low-temperature system IGP-DURA®one 56 at even higher object temperatures or longer retention times in the oven, simply ask your IGP customer contact.
