IGP-RAPID®complete 881TA-R2 is a deep matte, single-coat powder coating with a fine texture on a polyester resin base that is characterized by high reactivity and improved robustness. Specially developed for temperature-sensitive substrates, it impresses with low curing temperatures and extremely short curing times. This highly reactive, single-coat powder enables all-round, seamless coating in a single operation, saving resources and ensuring maximum energy efficiency. The coated surface shows an optimised robustness, leading to less scratches and thus a higher lifetime of the coated product.

TObject t min t max 125 °C 5 minutes 9 minutes 130 °C 3 minutes 7 minutes 140 °C 2 minutes 5 minutes Due to the limited thermal conductivity, the use of infrared- (electric / gas catalytic) or convectional - infrared combined ovens is recommended.
In order to determine ideal curing conditions, we recommend practical trials with the respective object and curing oven.
The curing conditions must be carefully controlled. Powder coatings cured outside the curing window may show deficiencies in the film flexibility. Our technical customer service will advise you.
